Mary Kate Cloonan is a junior from Oswego, New York pursuing the medical anthropology track. With particular interest in chronic illness treatment and management in immigrant communities, she is excited to explore the potential for data visualization to improve healthcare accessibility. Outside of her courses, she volunteers at the Henry J. Austin Health Center as a patient navigator and works with local middle school students through AST Mentoring. Her current project at the VizE Lab seeks to honor the history of the Lenape people in the local area through data visualization.
