Bio/Description

Kelly Lake is the Undergraduate Program Manager for the Department of Anthropology where she supports the undergraduates and faculty in the department. You may reach out to her with questions about majoring in Anthropology or the undergraduate program in Anthropology.

In 2017, Kelly began her career with Princeton University as a Contract Specialist within Finance and Treasury. Since, she has held undergraduate administrative positions with the Department of History and the Department of English programs. In August 2023, Kelly transitioned to her current position in the Department of Anthropology.

She received her bachelor’s in English from Skidmore College, an advanced certificate in acting from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, and she completed her master’s in fine arts with honors from The Actors’ Studio at the New School as a member of their inaugural class. After a career as an actor, director, dramaturg, and a part-time educator of writing and acting technique in theater and film in university and college programs in the NY and Philly area, she returned to school and obtained her paralegal certificate with honors.

When she isn’t supporting the students and faculty of Anthropology, you can find her spending time with her family, cheering her twins on the soccer pitch and in the orchestra pit.
