Alison Parish is a senior concentrating in Medical Anthropology with a certificate in French Language and Culture. With the intention of pursuing medical school after graduation, she is interested in learning more about health disparities for vulnerable populations, the intersection of identity within healthcare, and methods of care that center around the cultural needs of patients. Her independent work is focused on understanding the ways that histories of immigration impact the healthcare experiences of West African immigrants living in Paris, France. Outside of her work in anthropology, Alison is very active in the dance community at Princeton and involved in mentorship as a Butler RCA and SIFP Head Fellow.
