Princeton University Firestone Library wrote an article on Professor João’s Biehl’s “Insurgent Archivings” seminar class. Biehl’s class poses questions about the weight of history and the refiguration of social life and futurity. In the article, Ph.D. student, Alisa Sopova, discusses her experiences as a journalist in eastern Ukraine covering the war and how the media didn’t cover everything. Sopova decided to create an opportunity for people to express their ideas of the war through Ukrainian ephemera.
