PACRI meeting brings together partner research teams from Princeton and five HBCUs

On February 2nd and 3rd the Princeton Alliance for Collaborative Research (PACRI) met to share results from their research collaborations and to spark ideas for further discovery. PACRI brings Princeton and HBCU researchers together for joint research projects. "Lighting" talks were held to describe the projects funded by PACRI. The Heirloom Gardens project is supported by the PACRI and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Hanna Garth is on the Leadership Team for the project. The Heirloom Gardens Oral History Project is a collaboration of Princeton University, Spelman College, and the Ujamaa Cooperative Farming Alliance to collect oral histories of people who have worked to preserve Black and Indigenous seed and foodways through the Southeastern United States and Appalachia.
