Nikita Taniparti, second-year Anthropology graduate student, has been appointed as a Contributing Editor to the Society for Cultural Anthropology (Digital). Cultural Anthropology publishes ethnographic writing informed by a wide array of theoretical perspectives, innovative in form and content, and focused on both traditional and emerging topics. It also welcomes essays concerned with ethnographic methods and research design in historical perspective, and with ways cultural analysis can address broader public audiences and interests.
Taniparti remarks, "I will be a Contributing Editor to the ‘Teaching Tools’ section of the Society for Cultural Anthropology's digital publication. This involves writing and curating content at the intersection of ethnography, pedagogy, and education. This position is close to my interests based on several teaching and mentoring positions across disciplines, ranging from economics and public policy to anthropology. It also complements my ongoing work as a Graduate Fellow at the University Writing Center. I look forward to reading and collaborating on content with students, postdocs, faculty, and more!"
