Navjit Kaur and Nikhil Pandhi receive Wenner-Gren grants

Congratulations to PhD candidates Navjit Kaur and Nikhil Pandhi, winners of Wenner-Gren dissertation fieldwork grants. The title of Nikhil's project is, Dying of Caste: How Public Health, Caste and Chronicity Collide in Contemporary India. Navjit's project is titled, Refusal to Bank: Futures of Subaltern Finance in Post-Colonial Punjab, India.

The Wenner-Gren Award for dissertation research funds research that demonstrates a clear link to anthropological theory and debates, and promises to make a solid contribution to advancing these ideas.
