Artist and first-year graduate student, Moad Musbahi, has been commissioned with his collaborator Sumayya Vally, for the La Biennale di Venezia’s 18th edition of the International Architecture Exhibition. This year’s exhibit curated by Lesley Lokko is titled The Laboratory of the Future. 

They have been invited as one of 16 that represent, for the curator, the ‘force majeur’ of African and African Diaspora artists and architects working today, a group which includes the architect of the new Princeton Art Museum, Adjaye Associates. 

Their installation will be featured in the Central Pavilion, and this year’s exhibit in Venice runs from May 20^th to November 26^th. Please see here for more information.
