Congratulations to Anthropology major Lauren McGrath ’21, winner of Best Video: Outstanding Undergraduate Presenter Award at Princeton Research Day 2021! Lauren’s video, “A Side Unseen: Why Structural Violence Demands Visualization,” tells why we need more than written papers and journal articles to appropriately tell the stories of structural violence. She argues in her thesis that an ethnography of structural violence demands visualization.
