Jerry Zee receives National Humanities Center 2025-26 Fellowship

April 10, 2025

Congratulations to Jerry Zee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology and the High Meadows Environmental Institute, one of 32 scholars selected for a fellowship at the National Humanities Center for the 2025-26 academic year. The Fellowship allows each scholar to work on an individual research project and to share ideas in seminars, lectures, and conferences at the Center. The Fellowship will enable the selected scholars to take a leave of absence from their normal academic duties and pursue research at the Center.

The Center is the world’s only independent institute dedicated exclusively to advanced study in all areas of the humanities. Through its residential fellowship program, the Center provides scholars with the resources necessary to generate new knowledge and to further understanding of all forms of cultural expression, social interaction, and human thought.
