Anthropology Class of 2024

Sept. 14, 2023

Amid the excitement of the start of classes for fall 2023, the senior Anthropology majors from the Class of 2024 met for their final Majors' Meeting in Aaron Burr Hall. Excitement prevailed as seniors met their senior independent work advisers and reviewed the expectations of the work they'll be doing this year to fulfill their degree requirements. Present at the meeting were Anthropology Alumni Caroline Grunwald '23 who followed the Sociocultural track; Sarah Brown '23, who was in the Medical Anthropology track. Both Grunwald and Brown shared their experiences within the major and tips on successful planning for senior independent work. Alumna, Jessica Lambert '22, who followed the Law, Politics, and Economics Anthropology track, shared an overview of her senior thesis ethnographic work and the importance of how early planning, small failures, and the discussion with faculty advisers within the department led to a successful senior project.
