Assistant Professor of Anthropology and the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs Amelia Frank-Vitale, recently co-published an article in Sage Journals entitled, “Honduras, Gangs, and Asylum Law.” In the article, Frank-Vitale discusses asylum claims based on persecution by street gangs and how legal precedents rely on an incorrect understanding of the issues at stake.
