Aisha F. Chebbi ’24 elected Young Alumni Trustee

The Department of Anthropology is thrilled to announce that Aisha F. Chebbi '24 has been announced as the next Young Alumni Trustee. On Friday, May 24, Aisha Chebbi ’24 was elected Young Alumni Trustee (YAT) for the Class of 2024. Chebbi will serve on the University’s Board of Trustees starting on July 1, which will mark the beginning of her four-year term. 

Aisha F. Chebbi's independent work was celebrated on Monday, May 27. She is the Co-winner for the Department's Best Senior Thesis in Medical Anthropology. "Inoculating Belief: Tracing Vaccine Hesitancy and Decision-Making in Muslim America” was advised by Professor Carolyn Rouse. Chebbi's thesis was also recognized with an Honorable Mention by the Beth N. Rom-Rymer, Class of 1973 Senior Thesis Prize in Global Health and Health Policy. Chebbi is the recipient of the 2024 Spirit of Princeton Award.

Aisha will be in Germany following graduation pursuing her Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship.
