Mrs. Dalloway's Bookstore will host a Book Discussion event for Laurence Ralph’s new book, Sito: An American Teenager and the City that Failed Him.

Laurence Ralph (Professor of Anthropology, Co-Director of the Center on Transnational Policing) will be joined in conversation by Forrest Stuart. Stuart is Professor of Sociology at Stanford University, where he also directs the Stanford Ethnography Lab and the Program on Urban Studies. A 2020 MacArthur Fellow, his research examines the causes, contours, and consequences of urban poverty. He is the author of Down, Out and Under Arrest: Policing and Everyday Life in Skid Row and Ballad of the Bullet: Gangs, Drill Music, and the Power of Online Infamy.
