The titles of selected Anthropology senior theses listed below illustrate the breadth of research and topics chosen by our majors.  Recipients of senior thesis prizes are also indicated within parentheses after the author's name and class year. (Bold print denotes a first prize or co-winneritalics denotes a second prize or honorable mention.) Anthropology seniors have been awarded senior thesis prizes not only by our department, but also the following: the Community-Based Learning Initiative (CBLI); the Center for Human Values; and the programs in American Studies, Canadian Studies, Environmental Studies, French Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Global Health, Judaic Studies, Latin American Studies (for Latin American as well as Brazilian and Portuguese thesis topics), Law and Public Affairs, Urban Studies, and Women's Studies. Additionally Anthropology majors have been recognized by the Lewis Center for the Arts.
